Celebrate Los Angeles!

Who: Angel City Chorale

What: Amazing spring concerts!

When: Saturday, June 2 and Sunday, June 3 at 7 p.m.

Where: Wilshire United Methodist Church, 4350 Wilshire Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90010, Between Highland and Wilton- Map and Directions

Why: Our theme is “Angels Over LA,” and the pieces we are singing were composed by Los Angeles composers. Many of them will actually be attending the concerts! The 150 or so singers in Angel City Chorale are some of the most amazing singers I’ve ever heard and inspire me each week to be a better singer!

Sidenote: I have a teeny little solo for “Down to the River” on Sunday evening, and am sure to have butterflies, so would love to see some friendly faces out there 🙂

How: Buy tickets online here (preferred seats are a little more, but worth it as they are closer to the stage!): http://angelcitychorale.org/concerts-events/angels-over-la-an-l-a-story/

Come celebrate Los Angeles’ eclectic culture, melting pot, and artistic talent with us!

  1. I wish we could go! The Angel City Chorale is AMAZING!! We loved the holiday concert! It’s my daughter’s birthday weekend and we’ll be away in Catalina. Are there CD’s available for purchase that include “Down to the River”?

    • Catalina sounds like a lot of fun! Happy Birthday in advance to your daughter:) I’m glad you enjoyed the holiday concert! Thank you for coming to it! Yes, they always make a DVD of the concert and I believe they’re making some sort of audio recording too of this concert that will be available sometime in November/December. I’ll keep you posted! Enjoy Catalina! ~Jackie
