Read, Read, Read!

As many of you know, I am a member of a wonderful book club with some amazing ladies in my life, and we are constantly reading, reading, reading!

This week is “Read Across America Week” for schools in our nation (my colleagues are dressing up as The Cat in the Hat tomorrow and the school is holding a reading celebration in the afternoon to commemorate the students reading and bringing in little reading “bricks” documenting the books they read this whole month), so I thought it would be apropos to highlight some playful, funny books I’ve read recently just for kicks that make reading just fly by!

Another hilarious book that kept me giggling aloud due to its ridiculous, yet plausible situations, and rudimentary yet skillful pictures was the graphic novel Hyperbole and a Half: Unfortunate Situations, Flawed Coping Mechanisms, Mayhem, and Other Things That Happened by Allie Brosh…
