Brilliant Babymoon!

My cute, nerdy hubby and I went on our “Babymoon” last weekend!

We drove up to Monterey, and stayed at this adorable little B & B called Centrella Inn in Pacific Grove.

The customer service there was spectacular and they were so warm and thoughtful there- they even had some sparkling cider especially for me during Happy Hour!

It was comforting to come in from dinner out and see a plate of chocolate chip cookies available for guests to snack on:)

They certainly speak the language of preggers!

Pacific Grove is so peaceful and you feel as though you have been transported to a faraway oasis and beach once there…

Brian and I love visiting aquariums, and so made it a point to visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium

I also surprised my hubby with a couples massage: I got the prenatal, while he got the “stress-releaser!”

A fun, impromptu moment was when we were walking around Fisherman’s Wharf and randomly saw a wild sea otter leisurely swim by the dock, grooming himself and whirling around merrily in the water…

One place we loved dining at was a little French restaurant called Bistro Moulin. Mmm, escargots and coq au vin…

On our drive back home to LA, we made sure to stop by the enchanting Hearst Castle

It was so lovely to get some quality “us” time in before Baby Murphy comes! I want to go on another one…:)
