Janine and Ruben got married at Luminarias in Monterey Park last Saturday, June 28, 2014!
They began their day by getting ready at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Rosemead, with Kat Laskey’s Absolutely Beautiful Brides team on site to beautify the wedding party… Janine was super calm- that’s when you know you’re marrying the right person!
Their ceremony was short and sweet, officiated both in English and Spanish by Pastor Kevin Ibanez, outside on a gorgeous day! Florals and Events by Design’s flowers adorned the aisles and arch, giving hints of purple to come still later on in the reception…

…and finally, the moment you’ve been scanning through this posting for: Michael Jackson was there! Janine had him surprise her hubby. Ruben looked like a little boy on his birthday! And who knew that MJ just lives right in the valley?!;)
